I got a last-minute call to photograph the band Ume a couple of weeks ago. My friend Carrie Lombardi asked if we could get a shoot arranged in a days notice of these guys while they were in town from Austin. With no time to spare, I needed to find, or build, a location to shoot this trio in fast.
My main man and woman Adam Bove and Ali Vagnini just moved into a great house in my neighborhood. And both possessing great photographic minds, were kind enough to let me take over part of their house to set up a quick photo shoot. Adam even rolled home during the shoot all tired from working for the man and gave me a hand with the shoot. Here he is helping me test the reflection on his front door. I have him and his long arms standing behind me to thank for holding a screen and thus the reflection-less glass on these shots.
