Since the middle of the 1800’s, Stiletto has made axes and striking tools in central California. Spurred by the prospectors in the California gold rush, this tool company continues today making implements with contemporary technology. This restored 2 1/2 lb. axe head was hung on a wide and straight 20″ hickory helve, turning this into a “Faller’s Axe” style hatchet, built for speed and striking in small areas.
