Our friend Jonny came through town this winter, and we restored an 4 lb. Dayton pattern axe together that my father found for me. Jonny hung it firm and sharpened it clean. To field test it’s fit and bit, he then turned our (old) Christmas tree into a bonfire. Now finished, it’s westbound to our good pal. May it stay as sharp and true as it’s owner.
